    Me too.

I'll be out of the house at 4.30 tomorrow, 4 mile walk to the airport, fly to Dublin, bus into town, sit at my desk contracting the frontiers of computer science (Last week I actually wrote a binary search, something I first did a quarter of a century ago. Who knows, this week I might write an in-core sort), go to my digs, have dinner, go to the pub, watch the footy, have Guinness.

44.5 hours isn't bad - might beat it by about 2 but not much more.

I've class at 9 tomorrow. But there's no train to Vidyanagar after 6.30 in the morning. The 6.30 train is always jam-packed, and since tomorrow is a Monday, it'll be more so. So, I need to catch a 5.45 train, for which I'll have to wake up around 4.45-5.

I'll reach my Uni by 7, and spend the two hours before class sleeping on the lawn.

It isn't too bad considering I bring home a very good pay packet from it.

For me my working week is 6.00 to 4.00pm, then 6.00 to 12.30pm on Friday .

And time go goes very quick at my work (I work for a boat building company making small parts ie shampoo holders, shower flowers etc.) and I like what I do very much.

Are Indian trains always like those they show on TV, or is it dependant on what time of the day? If it is like from what I have seen, it would be a interesting experience.

Interesting yes....you can grope around and figure out different parts of the human anatomy.I stay in mumbai where the suburban trains are even worse. You are lucky if you can get room to stand in a normal posture.

Its really horrible, its high time the government does something about it.

Some Indian trains can be as fast as those elsewhere. But the ones running a short distance are annoyingly slow. Plus, the worst part is that they're dirtier than the dirtiest of the slums (I mean the local ones). But still, from what I've heard, Western Railways is the best in India, the other sectors are nothing we can be proud of.
