The color of immortality, nature and envy - you are truly a unique person. While clearly the color of nature, you also symbolize rebirth, fertility and hope in the world. On the other side of the spectrum, a natural aptitude to money with green coming to signify money and possibly even *********!

    The Living End (yeah!)
    AC/DC
    Powderfinger
    Bad Religion
    Muse
    Frenzal Rhomb

    Honourable Mentions:
    The Cat Empire
    Xavier Rudd
    Jet (in small doses)
    Metallica
    RHCP
    Greenday

I tend to steer away from pop and rap, which makes it difficult considering all my friends listen to pretty much only rap. i used to really be into the whole greenday, blink 182 thing, and that waned until i heard greendays new album, which i loved (apart from all the blatant 'this ones for depressed teenage girls' songs). TLE are by far my favourite, the first rock band i really ever listened to, and ive loved them ever since.

The Living End will go down as one of Australia's best ever acts. There's been a bit of talk here recently about bands 'maturing' from one album to another - well, TLE are probably the only Aussie act around today who have done it without losing a single bit of their edge.

yeah well said. i dont understand how theyre not a worldwide success when each one of the members has more talent than most other successful bands out there combined.

The Living End are very big in The States. On their recent DVD release (which I haven't got yet) they have included all their American Video clips.

They did a tour with either Spiderbait or Superjesus of America & Europe, The Living End headlined all the dates in the states because they were more popular there, but when they toured Europe with the other band (either Bait or SJ) they supported them.

Couldn't disagree more; TLE had the best first album of any band I've ever heard and I've barely liked a single song since.

And Retox, a DT fan, eh? Favourite albums? Personally, Awake is the best with Images and Words a VERY close second.

Best debut album? TLE? Maybe in Australia but IMO

    Pink Floyd (Pipers)
    Pearl Jam (Ten)
    Led Zep (1)
    The Doors (Self Titled)
    Guns N' Roses (AFD)
A Perfect Circle (Mer De Noms)
Rage Against the Machine (Self Titled)

All had better debuts IMO but TLE is the best for Aussie

My fave DT is - Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence or Images And Words

yeah ive got the dvd, great watching. theyre semi-big in the states, but not that big, i think. i dont know any one here that knows of them, and most of my friends are americans. as for what top_cat said, personally i thought roll on was slightly better than their self titled (maybe because roll on was the first time id heard them)

I find The Living End ok. Just ok nothing brillant but there ok. I would not go out and buy one of there cds but I am sure most of you would not go out and get a new Sparta cd or Mars Volta cd Its all about tastes and I am not one to bring down others tastes.
