    The Gay Marriage Debate

It doesn't affect the majority of Cricketwebbers but there seems to be a lot of social issues addressed in OT lately.

    Your thoughts?

    Let them marry, I say.

Its really the issue of gay couples adopting kids that has me undecided.

I can't see any practical reason to oppose gay marriage or gay couples adopting children.

Surely there must be some concern regarding adoption by gay couples ? The kid misses out on a father/mother.

I was going to say something similar to that, but I decided I wouldn't put it forward seeing as I can't be @rsed trying to justify it at the moment!

Well if two consenting adults 'in love' want to be legally recognised and socially recognised as a married couple, then I dont see who or what should stop them.

It's the couple's life, let them live it out the way they want to.

Agree, I don't think they should be denied the rights given to heterosexual couples, I think people should just let them do it, it's not really any of our business. Must say I don't understand the attraction of another man but each to their own.

I think gay couples should be allowed to marry.

If a couple were barred from marrying because they were mixed race there would (rightly) be an outcry; to me barring gay couples from marrying is denying them a basic human right.

"as much a news event as an actual footballer, a worthy stop-start centre forward, but an all-time hyper-galactico when it comes to doing funny things with cars and hats, a player whose signing proves once again that the Premier League is still undoubtedly the best in the world when it comes to doing things with cars and hats."

Doesn't bother me at all - besides, once I get to 50, am alone and need company, I've got a whole different avenue to explore.

If two people love each other, they should be allowed to marry, fullstop.
