So how was it that all of the CW members first discovered the almighty cricket web ?

I must say that i stumbled across the forums whilst searching for information on the whereabouts of vasbert drakes on yahoo. how else did everyone else learn about the delights of this website?

also keeen to hear about your personal best and worst moments of being a member on the forums here.

I think I got a link to the games section of the website from cricketgames.com then just discovered the forum from there

Google for me too, I was looking up some obscure stat (that I don't recall) & I was directed here.

In 2002 I got an MSN message from a guy called Stanley (Orin) from Guyana I think.. He told me about this newish forum called Cricketweb.. Sod that I thought..

Then I got myself banned from cricketgames.com, turns out that was a good thing!

ah it seems most of my first few posts were in the now defunct predictions league, i think i found CW because i discovered another Cricket forum, (called something like the victor trumper cricket board) but it was sh*te.
