Lost My Wallet

Damn, I'm in a huge mess right now. I've got my cousins visiting here from overseas, I was meant to take them out around Melbourne today and I've lost my damn wallet.

My bankcard, drivers licence, university ID card and some cash, everything is gone, nowhere to be found.

Now i'm headed off to the bank and VicRoads to get replacement cards.

Im in a big mess here!

Not a thing you would wish upon many people

Sorry to hear about that, have a couple of times thought I've lost mine (luckily it turned out I was doing something stupid like sitting on it) and its not a nice feeling at all. Hope you can get it all sorted out without too much trouble.

Damn.. most of that would be replaceable, but how much cash did you have?

There are only two times in my life that I thought I'd lost my wallet. Once when I was drunk and my friends were calling a taxi for me and asked if I had money, and the second time was in the taxi when the cabbie dropped me off lol.

Really sorry to hear about that MB. I know how it feels to lose a wallet. Its like you got everything there. Its happened twice to me. Once when I was late and running to class and it fell out of my jacket. I was really worried. But luckily some girl returned it to the registrar's office. And once more somebody found it and returned it.

so i know how it feels. The good thing is everything in there is replaceable except the cash. And you never know, someone might return it

Yeah, I think there are a lot of crooked people out there, but there are so many people who come across a wallet or a purse or whatever and hand it in... just for the time being, try and have faith in the goodness of people MB.

Thanks for the nice comments guys. Yeah, its been a hell of a day. I just got back from VicRoads (our motor registration beurau) and have just gotten a replacement for my drivers licence. Went to the bank as well and cancelled my old Bank Card and the other one should come in the mail in a week or two.

Cash, erm, thats the bit that's pinching me. I had about a $100 in there. All's well that ends well I guess, but the $100 is stinging.

Really sorry to hear that MB. Thankfully I've never lost my wallet before, but I have misplaced my mobile phone many times, lucky enough to get it back.

Hope everything works out, good to hear you've got your license back.

Bad luck there

Once i left my wallet in my school locker over the summer holidays. But there was nothing really important there...only a spare key and a few bucks
