France Pics
Kinda like Sudeep's thread, a collection of pictures from my trip to France.
Most images are around 50 kb, so they shouldn't take too long to load. More pictures if there's interest.... 1. Town just south of my place. 2. Famous sculpture on the Arc de Triomphe, Paris. 3. Eiffel tower by night. 4. Statue with Eiffel tower in the background. 5. Notre Dame and the Seine.

1. Statue with 1000 arms.
2. Christmas marked with St-Etienne temple in the background. 3. Mt. St Odile, a famous place of pilgrimage perched on a rocky plateau. 4. Stork on top of a tower with 3 castles in the background. 5. Choucroute, a traditional dish from Alsace, where I spent most of my time. |

1. A small part of a 110m round panoramic painting.
2. Statue in memory of Swiss guards killed during the French Revolution. 3. Medieval bridge, tower and Mt. Pilatus. 4. Lake of 4 cantons (Switzerland) and the Alps. 5. Old fortifications of Lucerne with the Alps. |

2. A fortified house. 3. 1000 year old abbey of Murbach under the snow in the mountains. 4. Ancient Roman theatre 5. The house of heads, which has hundreds of head sculptures on it. |
