    Optimum age for marriage

I know it totally depends on the person and when he or she is ready but what would you think is the optimum age when a person (guy and girl) should get married keeping all other aspects neutral?

What are the important things to take into consideration before taking the big step of marriage?

People in India usually get into arranged marriages with girls marrying at the age of 22-25 and guys 25-28 on an average. I dont believe in young marriages and believe a guy should not get married before 28 and should now the girl he is going to live his life with completely before taking the next step.

So for me guys not before 28, girls not before 26 and there is not maximum age for me. Also knowing your partner completely is vital.

I think marriage is an outdated institution, fixated in the days when everyone went to church and led immaterial lives.. Now it is just a financial tool, and is oh so abused it isn't even worth taking part in any more..

True love doesn't need the conformation of a few pointless documents...

    Well, I'm 29, unmarried & childless.

If I wasn't shacked up with the lass even I might start to suspect I was gay!!

Cheery fella! Some people however do feel that conformation is needed, hence their desire to do so.

No such thing as an optimum - depends on the particular people.

Lol, just because I have extreme views on marriage, doesn't mean I go around like a manic depressive! I hope to be unmarried and living with the same bird from 25 onwards.. Don't see why marriages are any more binding these days..
