What Do You Do?
Hey all,
Thought it might be interesting to have a thread where everyone describes what they do, whether they work or are at college etc. Just leave a few details about what job you do and stuff. I start work at Transco next week as a Despatch Clerk, which basically means I'll be sitting in front of a monitor all day making sure that all the engineers get to where they need to be on time and also despatching them to people who are experiencing problems with gas or something along those lines. Should be quite boring, but the money is very good indeed. So, what do you do? Cheers, Lee

I'm doing my Bachelors in Chemical Engineering at G. H. Patel College of Engineering and Technology in Vallabh Vidyanagar (usually referred to as plainly Vidyanagar), Gujarat. I'm in my third year of the four-year course. Vidyanagar is a University town, developed by one of India's famous freedom fighter Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and is about 45 kms. from Baroda, the city I live in. I commute daily, via a private bus, which since the last semester has been organized by yours truly.
I've already completed 25 subjects of the required 40. We've a similar system to the American GPA system here, except it's out of 10, rather than 4. My current GPA (we call it CPI here - Cumulative Performance Index) is 8.78, with As and Bs in most of the subjects, bar 3 or 4. After finishing my Bachelors, I plan to go for my Masters, hopefully in either US, UK, Singapore or Australia. I also plan to do some journalism degree side-by-side while I'm doing the Masters.

I'm a poorly paid, ****-on civil servant.
I work in a job centre & the unemployable come in to practice being ignorant to me. Until November I used to work on State Pensions, but my job was transferred to Norwich & I didn't fancy going with it.

Studying, doing final year of International Baccalaureate (a pain) - just had my dream of going to uni in Brumby's town shattered, so atm have no plans apart from studying maths further.
