    Lucky Eddie/BBC's plagiarism

Apologies if this has already been covered, but can someone tell me where Eddie is? I see from his profile he hasn't been on the CW forums since October, and there was no mention of any kind of hiatus in his last few posts.

I was reminded of him when I was clearing out an e-mail account, with a message from him back in last March still there.

The e-mail related to me spotting quite a few CW posts on a TMS message board under fake poster names. Can any of the mods also tell me how that panned out in the end?

    Thanks,
    Kent

I dunno LE's circumstances, but his presence on the forums is most missed.

Top chap all round: very funny, well-informed & informative to those of us without the benefit of his vast knowledge.

Here's hoping for a triumphant return in the not-too-distant future!
    - As featured in The Independent.

"Predictably, the ending of his international career did not end the argument about Pietersen's merits, as an army of informed commentators and Piers Morgan weighed in to defend or attack him."

Yeh, would like to hear about him.. He had health problems i seem to remember, but I thought he made a full recovery??

I'd have him in the top three all time posters tbh..

Unforunately I haven't heard from Eddie in over six months thus I don't have a clue what's happening with him.

He is a superb guy and brought so much to Cricket Web in which I'll always be greatful to him for.

Could you email me (james.nixon@cricketweb.net) about this please Kent with the URL of the website in question. Cheers.

I seem to remember LE was trying for a job on a contractual basis in Australia, maybe it came together. I certainly hope so. Top bloke.

This plagiarism thing was around about a year ago (when I was on Staff) ? People just copying and pasting posts from here to BBC TMS forum. It was anyone and everyone and there were more than a few culprits and victims. I'll have a forage when I get back to uni.

    Yeah, I certainly reckon so.
Bit worried to hear James hasn't heard from him, as if anyone was going to I'd expect The Big Boss to.
Still... he's been away for a long time before now...

You must be there if you're confident enough to say so.
