    Have a good new year, however Auld Lang Syne means 'the good old days' or 'times gone past' so it doesn't entirely fit there

    I use that a lot.. It sucks going to a boarding school that I go home from every night because I live next door.. A lot of my mates live in far off places

    just watched the sydney fireworks on abc asia pacific. pretty impressive, i must say. to me it looked like the 'waterfall' off the bridge was a bit slow. all the same it was a good show.
    dont see what the big fuss over the remix of the anthem was about either, it wasnt that bad.

    I love the way how the London fireworks are always the least spectacular, and usually go wrong anyway.. Lovely country, but would be so rude to be over the top wouldn't it?

    The Auckland fireworks are always pretty lame, they let them off the Sky Tower and its always a wet night so the cloud is down over the tower so you only see multi-coloured smoke.

    Don't know what it was like last night though, didn't go out from my friend's house until about 1:30.
