Death by water

..this is relating to Tsunami

can someone tell me what caused death besides

1) Drowning
2) Consumption of excessive Salt Water
3) Being hit and pushed towards a wall, car etc
4) Water Pressure

I'd think that drowning would be the number 1 killer, besides diseases.

I meant at the time of the impact, can water pressure affect..I mean it has to be real heavy pressure

Being hit can't exactly, but the water can cause several types of injury:
"Abrasion" (sort of) where, basically, small things in the water impact on the body and cause damage.
"Corrasion" (sort of - again) where the force of the water slams you into standing things.
"Hydraulic action" (sort of - yet again) - where pure force of water and turbulence in the water impacts on the body.
Not nice, really.
And of course, if none of these get you, you can always drown.
