Simple question regarding videos...

Hi all

I took a video with my camera (in MPEG format or whatever the standard is) that I want to turn 90 degrees because it is on its side at the moment..

Do any of you know how I could do this (without shelling out £100 for an expensive bit of software).

Maybe look for some share/free ware program at download.com or something like that....other then that i've no idea...

Yeah the same thing happens to me..... my sis sends me small clips and i have to turn them all the time.

I use Windows Movie Maker to turn them..... if u don't have it you can download it from the microsoft website or u get the new one if you already have Service Pack 2 for XP.

Just place the clip in your timeline and go to movie effects and you should get the option to turn whether 90 or 270 degrees.

It'll work, but even for a freeware program I consider that extremely crappy. Microsoft doesn't seem to give much that's good for free.

Yeah yeah..... the important thing is itll get the job done..... and its good for a freeware prog.... how much more do you expect to get for free?

Made a video where we destroy and break up a wardrobe, break into my mates bedroom at three in the morning and beat him with the panels while he is trying to sleep.. So funny I forgot to hold the camera the right way up..

You clearly have no concept of the world of freeware. There are far better programs out there for free. Freeware does not equal crappy (except when there's a beach and cricket concerned), as there are several quality freeware programs.

Yeah yeah i'm just poking you ... i know yout hate IE.
I use Firefox sometimes... but i like IE some things work there tha dont in Firefox and vice versa... but i generally have to get more plugins for firefox so i don't bother... wait and see IE7 should be an improvement..... they've fixed alot of stuff wiht SP2 but i think in the end IE will come out on top... they are going to have to do something eventually.

Tabbed browsing, which is extremely handy for a forum.
It's also a bit faster due to more efficient cache storage and it's proven more stable than Internet Explorer. Add that to it not being Microsoft and you've got yourself a campaign.

Once you go Mozilla, you never go back.
