Poppy Day

Tomorrow is Remembering Sunday. This is used every year and a Poppy is a Mark of respect for the dead

So i hope that members will sulute the dead and Living of the World Wars

there are only 27 known (British)Survivors from World War 1 living today from 105 to 110 Brave HEROS!!!!!!!!!!!

And remember the dead from Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War, Iraq War, Afghan War and Falklands War who died making Britian, USA, Australia and New Zealand a safer pleace to live

please dont use this to point the rights and wrong and remember the brave solders who dies for there counties

interesting day to choose, we have anzac day (25th april, public holiday) but also we commemorate rememberance day, 11th of the 11th.

Yeah its just the nearest Sunday to the 11th, we have services on the 11th but it was in the week so on the Remembrance sunday they have all the services at church.

We didnt have a minute silence on the 11th, because we were doing a TEE (end of year 12) exam at 11 o'clock. Didnt even think of it at the time... Was caught up in Bowling for Columbine, haha.

You were studying that for year 12? What subject out of curiosity?
