UK Music Hall of Fame
50's - Cliff Richard - I assume that's because they want someone still alive
to show up for the award? 60's - The Rolling Stones - Hmm, can think of a slightly better band from Liverpool. 70's - Queen - fair enough. 80's - Michael Jackson - UK?! 90's - Robbie Williams - Who only left Take That halfway through that decade. A nice idea in concept, but what a load of rubbish.

Personally I can't believe that The Who were left out of the selection for the 60's. Other top bands like Cream were left out as well. I'd like to know who was on the selection panel cos' it's a bloody fix!

Kerry Packer has arguably had the biggest impact on modern international cricket, and his circus was around for, what, 18 months? |
