    whats the specs on your system? I just got a new computer.............

    -AMD XP 2800+
    -512 MB DDR RAM
    - 80 GB HDD
    -LG DVD rewritable
    -XFX 128 MB video card
    -17'' monitor

    512m Kingston DDR 400 ram ( not even supported by my board so the ram only runs at 266mhz lol )
    Radeon 9550 GT 128m, 128 bit has been flashed to 9700 pro.
    2x80g WD IDE HD's 8m cache
    CDRW - DVD combo drive 16x52x32x52
    Crappy 4 channel Cmedia PCI sound card.
    Generic 450w power supply.
    Crappy speakers
    17" CMI monitor

    Anyone else build there own computer ?

    I think my mainboard is K7S5A
    a very poor gfx card
    CD-RW (40/20/10)
    DVD
    1 Seagate 40gb IDE, 1 Seagate 129gb IDE, Both with 8m cache
    512mb SDRAM
    old 15" monitor
    Creative Audigy 2 ZS or Creative Live! Platinum 5.1 (I have both, currently have the Audigy 2 installed) hooked up to Pioneer M5 mixer, pair of Stanton STR8-80 turntables
    Kenwood Stereo Amplifier
    old pair of Sherwood speakers - 15" bass drivers

    I'll be upgrading soon to something along the lines of this (as soon as I can get the funding):
    Intel p4 3.0C
    Asus P4P-800 E Deluxe
    2X256mb Kingston PC3200 DDR
    Coolermaster Centurion CAC-T05 with window and Silent P/S
    128mb Leadtek A350XT Geforce FX 5900XT

    i think mines pretty much the same as that, it was among the best you could buy when i got it at the beginning of the year....

    k7S5a are kinda crappy hey lol.. have you done the chipset cooling mod..? cos that crappy little heat sinc does bugger all lol..

    And SDRAM lol.. but that explains the K7S5a because they take DDR and SD.

    Yeah, I intend to get everything at MSY - It's worth going all the way to Pascoe Vale (about 35kms for me) for their prices. I'm highly overdue for a new pc, this one can't even run IE properly... the only thing I've upgraded properly is HDD.
