Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is too far away for India to carry out an operation anyway. There shouldn't have been a doubt.

Yeah, but there seemed to be some confusion at that point actually because balakot in KP is the more well known place

Full on escalation into war will be bad. If Paksitan downplays or denies any bombing, so much the better. Hard to feel good about bombing in general, I just hope the damage is done strictly to terrorists and their infrastructure.

And almost hesitate to make a comment on this, but seems like the policy of Indian govt now is to not blink at the nuclear bluff (Pakistani spokespersons have habit of stating "we are a nuclear power").
I do like this policy from the current government. In the end you can't just keep doing nothing - today it's 40 tomorrow it can be anything.

So, it was the KP Balakot with the Jaesh training camp. Sweet.

That's pretty incredible tbh. Hopefully no civilians among the casualties.

KP = Khyber Pakhtunkhwa? Just checked the map, it's not as far as I thought so may be!

Yeah. Pretty decent. Just 190 km from Islamabad, websites say.

Solid distance/buffer between the camp and civilians too. Good stuff by the Air Force.

Either those are some terrorists with some degree of pride/shame or they're extremely stupid/emboldened...enough to have their camp outside of the realm of civilians.

In any case, nice to see Pakistan taking PR lessons from Saudi Arabia

So what happened for real? I'm either hearing 300+ terrorists or a bunch of trees. Was it bombs or just excess payload?

Pretty alarming either way. I was hoping it was just going to be more of the same - a border skirmish here, some dick waving.

Theory doing the rounds(in india) is that the Pakistani government is trying to downplay the severity of what happened to defuse the situation.
