Manchester's always had them in abundance (we're one of the most diverse cities and always been at the forefront of civil rights), and a walk around the city today showed it's only got stronger

We've also got an answer in not allowing hate speech to spread, be it through social media or mainstream media in our far right 'political parties' and walking flangeflaps like Katie Hopkins - This is where we are failing, and sadly it's those we trust who are letting the common man down.

We don't accept fighting for ISIS to be a crime? Physically supporting the force behind the people committing these atrocities isn't enough for us to condemn?

Cpr's tactical explanation seems more plausable.

Haven't been able to bring myself to post in this thread, having kids of my own, as spending even a moment in those shoes is too long. Just awful and sickening and devastating for those involved, my thoughts with all those affected.

If only Julius Caesar had hugged Brutus and Cassius and told them they were cool patricivns during the stabbing. They would have stopped that stabby business for sure.

    Really sad stuff. Targeting kids.

RIP to all the victims and thoughts with their families.

It's scary stuff. How do you eliminate this issue, especially when they run people over with cars. You can't detect or stop something like that.

Bollards in CBDs and at major events could help the car issue. The bastards would find another way ofc

I do admire your optimistic sentiment a lot. But realistically, have we not learned a single thing since 632 AD?

I don't think anyone has worked out how to solve this. That includes the Hansons/Wilders of the world, those preaching infinite tolerance and the Muslims looking to reform their religion. It's a disease that's immune to a palatable cure.

Fixing Syria and Libya is the palatable cure.

Would definitely be a good start. That in itself isn't a particularly easy task though. Whether it ends the phenomenon isn't something any of us have an answer to.

I'm not really into politically correct hot air. It is all a bunch of lefty tosh, all this inclusive touchy feely nonsense.
