    you should definitely do chicago.

I am no longer there but should you decide to come to the great white north, I'll take you out to lunch (assuming you are somewhere in the GTA-H) area.

And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

    So predictable.

Will of course just sort of leave this comment then refuse to say anything else. Why do you actually bother?

FTR my terminology was more aimed at the one world government solution. Obviously I didn't agree with any of it but that but in particular horrifies me to my core

A universal minimum wage in practice would probably just end up being like 0.50 USD an hour or something farcical like that.

I don't necessarily think you need a one world government, but having minimum wages for people all over the world is surely an admirable thing to strive for? Part of the reason a lot of disenfranchisement exists in the working class in the west is their jobs have disappeared overseas to people being paid an absolute fraction of what they did earn, because it means the company owners and investors make more money. I'm sure free market capitalists are happy with the "competitive labour" notion but if you want to see companies and jobs stay in countries, removing the possibility of them paying some bloke 5000miles away 1% of a worker in your own country is a good way to start - better than giving the, tax breaks at least.

Not if you used purchasing-power parity exchange rates to vary the minimum wage across borders.

How funny will it be if a bunch of sycophantic Australian Tories end up inadvertently helping to bring Trump down.

This would make more sense but is still not far off from what currently occurs.
