Thank goodness I'll have a blue passport to look at when I'm queuing at the airport when I travel to Europe in the future.

Should be more depressed about how Ed Sheeran has dominated the Xmas charts tbh rather than a passport colour.

I reckon you and i could put together a top 10 terrible Christmas number 1s without too much trouble, and that's without even including the run of X factor winners.

Yes this is something that is shameful.

2002 and 2003 were absolute tunes to be fair, but absolute dross bar that.

I wonder why a labour politician would give an interview to the Spectator.

Not the first time, only a few weeks ago John Mc Donnell gave an interview with them and he isn't exactly Blairite!

If you donít talk to Spectator then their gossip pieces are based entirely on leaks from your opponents (internal+external). All the Tories talk to New Statesman too for the same reason.

Good news that Toby Young has stepped down. The constant dickish comments aside, he was desperately unqualified for the job.

That was at best an odd rejig from May, moving ministers who were getting to grip with there roles to other positions such as Stewart and Greening binned. Looking at some of the Tory media, the general belief is its a reminder that May really isn't that good at this political lark.

Very strange turn this story has taken. An appointment designed to tackle the no-platforming of offensive and controversial views ends with the scandal of a major university giving offensive and controversial views too much of a platform.
