I can’t imagine those who’ve consciously voted against Corbyn would be happy to then see him put into number ten as a result, and if you’re natural instincts are conservative then you correctly detest Corbyn and everything he stands for.

However that is, as has been said, the outcome of FPTP in a crowded market.

If we have an election this year, I think Boris would be the only one with an outside chance of a majority - and I don’t think he gets that. But obviously a lot depends on what happens over he next three months with Brexit.
Yeah I'm not really convinced tbh. The most likely outcome of any election imo is a real unholy mess. That said, I do hope we get one.

Boris will be the Paul Scholes (the manager) of Politics. As soon as he realises things aren’t going his way he’ll resign.

    Best case scenario right here...

Boris Johnson promised to unite the party and he appears to be doing so by sacking everyone who supported Jeremy Hunt.

Haha well, anyone who expected him to actually keep his "promises" will probably get what they deserved.

On a related note. The standing ovation for May in the Commons today, wtf was that about. She was an unmitigated disaster. What a sham. A grotesque display of false appreciation.

It was particularly unedifying when there were over 100 Conservative MPs who wanted rid of her in December.

Applauding the fact she has finally gone?

As for Boris well he is doing a good job of freshening it up, though you can't polish a turd.

I doubt Priti Patel can even spell Libertarian. She's an absolute wanker.
