Well as someone from this forum said to me yesterday, looks like Corbyn will lead them out of opposition like he always wanted....

Granted itíll be in the wrong direction but

Looking forward to the fallout of this Panorama show tonight, not that I'll watch it myself. Sounds like Labour are really crapping themselves over it.

    Anyone seen the Hunt/Johnson debate?

Surprised by both how roundly Hunt wiped the floor with the blonde bombsite and how he went straight for the throat too. Boris almost literally had a cry at one point.

I'm not sure being able to demonstrate that a fat chancer who lies is a bad idea for a prime minister necessarily means one will make a better one, but it was a surprisingly effective take down.

Hunt definitely going for the "not subservient to America" angle as well, as evidenced by him calling out Trump on Twitter.

One imagines that will play well with those who feel BJ will just kowtow to Murica.

The ballots have probably already been cast so it doesn't overly matter, but you can see why Johnson dodged him until now.

Corbyn v Johnson has been debated a billion times here, but you watch that debate and its obvious someone like Starmer would absolutely massacre Johnson.

The tory race is done, the members have been waiting for years to make Johnson PM.

Was reading Stephen Bush's comments on the debate and he reckons Johnson would go well against Starmer-types because they're acceptable targets. Whereas shouting over Corbyn would just make Corbyn look sympathetic, and shouting over someone like Jo Swinson would look even worse.

Also Corbyn is good at campaigning. He's shown it three times now but everyone forgets about it very quickly when he gets back to his day-to-day embarrassing incompetence.

I wonder how the ERG would have reacted if it had been Donald Tusk who was tweeting criticism of a UK ambassador.

Just watched it and it was unpleasant viewing. Guess they will spin it as Tory media and only interviewing people with an agenda against Corbyn but were all of them bare faced liars?

Labour is anti-semitic and the Tories are Islamaphobic, guess the next election will be fascinating as to which one loses more votes than the other over the issues.

Not a chance, the usual suspects will be out in force over the next few days for and against him and nothing will happen. Can't see anybody forcing a leadership election as they know the lemmings will vote him back in again anyway.

Their current poll standings make me desire an end to FPTP more than ever before

RIP Labour, youíve been a basket of evil and thievery forever but at least you used to have what you thought were good intentions. Now youíre just a bunch of racist bullies espousing ideas that have failed time and time again. You wonít be missed.
