One Day in Coventry (Ian Pont and ABSAT)

Thanks for your reply, yes, I think i've found a comfortable level of dip, and my bowling has improved drastically. I've been hitting the seam regularly and getting consistent bounce and accuracy. I also know I've definitely not got a mixed action and it is chest on. So how much would it...

    Run up

I have the same problem. Also, my run up used to be 18 strides, I was advised to cut it down, but I couldn't get enough momentum out of a shorter run up, and my action falls apart when I don't have any momentum. Somehow I managed to reduce it while having a bowling course, and I find that I have...

    The Short Pitched Delivery

Well, the ideal bouncer would be throat high or above, if its not that high, batsmen will love to face you. The way you do that is to exaggerate your chest drive (so imagine the batsmen is pulling your chest towards him with a piece of rope) and shoulder rotation (imagine your trying to show the...

    Pre season training

I think that it is a well structured routine, though on Thursdays, you should always spend thursdays at the nets. Nets are always better than fitness training.
