Relegation: good thing or bad thing?

Oi enough of that! People just don't realise how little Col U pay - I'd be surprised if any of our players were on more than £1,500 - £2,000 a week, most are probably on £500 - £1,000. Apparently our highest paid player earns lower than the lowest paid player at Leeds.

    Question

Agreed, although it may not be a huge scale victory due to the opposition, it will surely show a sign that these nations are delevoping quickly - although Ireland seem to have a few players from other countries qualifying through residency. I think Holland could well develop into a strong ODI...

    Muralitharan - javelin thrower

But it also shows just how close current bowlers are to the limit - people rave about bowlers having a repetitive action like McGraths, I don't think many people realise how much straightening of the arm happens

    Muralitharan - javelin thrower

I know that only Giles and Sarwan were the only ones found to bowl with a straight arm, but I recall Michael Holding talking about it last year with Botham during a Pro40 match, and it was said McGrath was very close to the limit.

    Muralitharan - javelin thrower

Was it not found that McGrath is something like one degree under the limit? Or am I imagining that?

    england's post ashes arrogance

Yeah that was the reason why. You can imagine the coversation between Punter and Warney after the 5th test... Warney: I can't see how we lost, we threw everything we had at them... Ponting: Apart from the kitchen sink... DAMMIT! I knew something was missing.
