    Well what i was getting at is that I just don't think he takes enough singles, fair enough if the batting conditions are tough but clearly they are not. With this unchanging ultra conservative style I can't see him offering much in tough pressure situations, will become a sitting duck.

    Can't really take middle order success for a given, a bit of pressure, a few bad shots, a bit of luck and suddenly NZ have a great chance, Pakistan might look invincible but not really been tested until now.

    its only really a road when there is little to no prospect for a win. pakistan bowled well, but none of these guys are world beaters, and uae isnt exactly their backyard, so a decent international side has every chance to compete if guys like rahat, barbar and shah can do well, poor excuses...

    Aside from Misbah azhar is the most conservative and steady paced batsmen Pakistan have.... Yet he always makes me uneasy how he let's pressure build up, if he could just take singles with more regularity would really help him.
