    Yeh, stick a sheet on there. I had one on my Icon, they're pretty decent, not sure how much they protect your bat, but you've already oiled it so it's all good. You can't really go wrong with oiling a bat unless you over oil it and the wood goes damp. I wouldn't worry.
    Yeah i know kidderminster, used to go an watch kidderminster harriers occsionaly few years ago. Im originaly from south yorkshire but have lived in midlands nearly 9 years now. My cricketing knoledge is just what iv picked up watching on tv so im not too hot on the technical stuff. I havnt played a game since i captained my primrary schools kwik cricket side lol.
    Heya, cheers for your help on the bowling, i was wonderin where in the west mids you are? If your not happy saying then thats cool, not giving out too much info to random people on message boards is fair enuff. Just fort id ask as im a west midlander myself (not far from halesowen).
    I've always used Raw linseed oil, never heard about using boiled tbh. I reckon just so long as you've not over-oiled leaving it for 24 hours would be fine. Have a read of this:
