    Mohammad Sami vs Ishant Sharma

The better comparison with Sami is probably Agarkar. Both played international cricket successfully, underachieving for their potential. Both are still playing. Both are nowhere in the selectors' horizon but both still hold out hope for playing for their country some day again.

what do you think of gambhir as a batsman?

Gambhir is really an odd case of success..He was prolific in the domestic competition but whenever he played for India, his technique seemed too loose. He would fish outside the offstump, not play any aggressive shots and basically looked like a 'Yuvraj in tests' kind of batsman without the...

    Glenn Mcgrath or Malcolm Marshall?

    Ya man..started a bit late..unlike you - when did you start? 1890?

    Glenn Mcgrath or Malcolm Marshall?

Mcgrath to me. Marshall had the benefit of bowling to batsmen without helmets, which might have jackedup his figures a bit. just a bit. Mcgrath could have played in any era and would have had the same success. That blind spot for batsmen has never been expoited better.

Who is the greatest Indian batsman of all time?

Sehwag , for me. I have fluctuated between Dravid, Gavaskar and Sehwag for long. Gavaskar - for his non-helmet, radical mindset changing ways to give India a standing in the world order Dravid - greatest modern Indian test batsman who can play in any pitch/weather conditon and stabilise the...

    Most charismatic cricketer ever?

Simple but effective list. I think they are the top 3 in my list too among the players I have watched consistently. Although you can order them in any way based on their last conquest ;)

    Most charismatic cricketer ever?

    - 1 Dhoni has probably inspired millions with his wins in the T20 WC, ODI WC, IPL, Champions league and no.1 in tests. Even Pervez Musharraf was a fan of his locks. He is the ultimate posterboy in Indian cricket and that , my dear friend, is not at all easy. His helicopter shots are a rage...

Greatest Pakistani fast bowler - Wasim or Imran?

Wasim FTW, purely as a bowler. Although, it is also because Imran's captaincy clearly overshadows anything else he has done in his career, especially since Pak have never since seen anything like him again.

    Wastemen etc

Sachin has won every deserving award and the WC title now. I wouldnt be surprised, if freed up of all the pressure, his career gets even better. Started watchin cricket when Sachin started playing. It wont be the same when he retires, ever, despite my fav cricketer being a certain blonde bloke...

    Is Tendulkar's career now "complete"?

Dhoni's career is probably more complete than him. He Still has to win the IPL, chanpions league and the T20 WC ;) It is after all a team game!

Murali The Greatest Asian Cricketer Ever

But isnt his eblow bent and he cant straighten it completely?

Murali The Greatest Asian Cricketer Ever

Not that I want to strt a controversy, but felt I had to put a valid reason on why I made that choice. If you feel that there is nothing wrong with the action and consider him an all time great, then fine. I think the doubters are in a huge minority, so it shouldnt affect his fans.

Murali The Greatest Asian Cricketer Ever

Sachin stands alone on the top, imo. We might not have another like him ever. Don>Daylight>Sachin>some more Daylight>others. Murali will always have an asterisk against his name due to his illegal action. The rules have now been changed for him, and all that is fine, but I wouldnt rate him top...

WHOs better Sir Bradman or Steve Tikolo?

Is this even a question? The answer is obvious and simple: Sachin Tendulkar #Indianfanboyplugtoanybestbatsmandiscussion
