Morgan?! Wow. This keeping-doesn't-matter idea is getting some serious momentum.

Missed a fairly easy stumping off Smith in the South Africa game, ftr.
Not how it was described at the time.actually.

Now obv I'm not arguing Morgan as a long time solution. Only that it's less bad than throwing in Davies from nowhere to bat out of position. Others will differ and some of us can cope with that.

It was more difficult than the commentators were letting on, maybe. The ball was just kinda lying there and he had to pick it up and break the stumps, but he got in a sort of rush and fumbled the ball. Smith had no idea where the ball was so he had more time than he knew.

****ing knew it.

Why's he backing away when he's the last ****ing batsman and he needs to bat out. He's batted properly and scored at a run a ball with no field restrictions.

So ****ing aggravating.

Only Scaly could tear into a bowler who's just hit 80 off 76 balls batting at number 8 with the team at 101/6.

Well, 19 more then his previous best list A score, so you can't complain.

Hope we can eke out another 10 or so.

Now at the risk of being flamed by one current contributor, that wasn't smart batting. Surely you see off Lee and take your chances against Watson et al? And we've probably thrown away 20 runs or so with that one shot.

Great knock though. Hopefully made a game of it.

Well Lee would have a much worse ER than Watson over their careers...

Only Scaly could fault a number eight batsman with a List A average below 20 coming in with his team in deep trouble and scoring 80 from 76 in a semi final.

Because it's rank stupidity. England have basically thrown away any chance of getting near 300 by being absolutely ****witted in the last couple of overs.

I never realised Bob Willis had the time to make over 13,000 posts on an internet forum...

Seriously man, we would have probably been bowled out for 150 if Bresnan hadn't played his innings. Where was the complaining when, say, Collingwood got out to an unnecessary attempted hook shot earlier on. Nowhere...

Come on Jimmeh and Onions here, a mini-reprise of their partnership in the Lord's test would be nice...
