I think they mean that he injured himself. He wasn't hit or anything.

Is Sanjay Manjrekar stupid?
FFS, if 40 overs are up and two powerplays are still to go, it stands to reason that the fielding captain has to have 3 players out for the remainder of the innings anyway. Idiot.
