but the pitches of South Africa does help ball to come on to the bat as well, you can paly your shots

58-1 in 8 overs. Good start even though we lost McCullum. Guptill gets off the mark with a SIX!! BANG!!!

Ryder puts 50 up in less than 12 overs. Hope he turns it into a big hundred.

Everytime NZ batsman gets the runs at the top, NZ looks brilliant in the field & bowling. It all looks everything is okay with team. But, its too early.. We need to get atleast 310 from here to carry some momentum to the main matches

Even better:

48.6

Singh to Broom, 2 leg byes

48.5

Singh to Broom, SIX, slog sweep over deep midwicket, out of the grounds

48.4

Singh to Broom, FOUR, straight back over bowlers head

48.3

Singh to Broom, SIX, again flicked over the boundry into the crowd on the onside

48.2

Singh to Broom, SIX, big shot over mid wicket boundry

48.1

Singh to Butler, 1 run, worked to mid on

Nice to see the Indian pacers are adapting well to the conditions.

NZ scoring 300+ is pretty sweet. Can't recall when we've done so and not been chasing.

Indians will find it difficult to chase this against NZ bowlers. Vettori will be a happy man

Though cricinfo may be wrong I'm surprised that Mills and Tuffey aren't being given a game. Jeets, Bond and Butler are playing instead. Would play both Mills and Tuffey ahead of Jeets and Butler tbh.

No Sachin in the warm up game. India will score 250+ and lose imo.
