*Official* Group B Discussion - South Africa, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, England

Broad started off with 2 fours, but after that, he got his economy right, even considering he had some wides. I don't think he's bowling as ppor as some here suggest.

England are just letting SL back into the game.
One more wicket and its into SL long tail, should just bring back anderson.

The run-rates very healthy for a match where Sri Lanka lost four early wickets. Pretty clear to see why- England have bowled 19 wides.

He should've bowled a while back. When you've reduced a side to 17-4, you shouldn't be saving your best bowler for the last 6 overs.

Same mistake Afridi made against WI. Took off the fast bowlers after the tail was exposed...here the tail is not really exposed but England needs to keep attacking.....Collingwood and Swann are not really threatening Mathew or Kandamby

yeah & Pakistan were very near to a defeat cuz of that mistake
on this pitch u should be looking at bowling a side out in 35 overs at most

Would 200-220 really be a good score on this pitch? I doubt that!
Under lights, second innings, excellent attack. It might not be what you'd call a "good" score exactly, but Sri Lanka would be favourites.

That said, England really do play the swinging ball very well. Perhaps the one positive thing that can be said about this batting lineup.

At Jo'burg, teams should play at least 4 good seamers......obviously if they are available for them...

This is why they should have played Asif against WI......
