Boucher is such a gem of a keeper. He always gets it right!

This looked not out from naked eyes but certainly that WAS pretty close...

Not really, tbh. If he's playing the power-hitting role I think he's better suited to doing it at the top of the order rather than the bottom. But if he's going to score 40 off 65 every game and refuse to keep wicket then he shouldn't be in the team at all.
The power hitting role doesnt work for NZ with this kind of middle order...

Why should we ask a batsman who is in no form to go after bowling opening? Can we afford with this middle order?

Thing is, the new white ball very seldom swings these days, so power hitting is probably actually easier at the top of the order with a hard ball and powerplays.

The problem with McCullum is that he's become a key player for New Zealand. When he was just the wicket keeper he could bat with a lot of freedom knowing that any runs he made were a bonus. Now he feels like his contribution is crucial and plays more carefully, but he doesn't have the concentration or the defensive ability for a long innings so he just ends up scoring the same number of runs anyway but in a longer time. Moving him down the order might work, but I think he just needs to be given free rein.
