ICC Champions Trophy 2008
Dhoni made a great mistake by not selecting Sachin, Dravid, Ganguly,Laxman. Experince is needed in a side more than young blood.

Laxman was never that good in ODI cricket, he couldn't score quick enough and was too slow in the field. There's no way he should be in the side ahead of Raina and Yuvraj, and with Badrinath and Rohit Sharma just starting their international careers I think it's more important to focus on their development.

OK, are these posts in the right forum, never mind the right thread?

I think they are, in a way. The title of the thread isn't great, but I think the point of it was "The young Indian batsmen have failed against Mendis in the Idea Cup, so should the experienced players should be brought back in the Champions Trophy?".

I suppose this might be the prudent point to ask - what is being done about this forum in light of the postponement? (And that's not neccessarily directed at you BTW) |

lol now that that the cup is postponed i think the indians should bring back sachin, sourve, dravid and laxman to the side and along with new players.. they all start playing marbles untill the end of the champion's trophy.. the winner of every game gets a trophy and the right to shove in pcb and bcci's butts lol or all the politicians in pakistan and india..
