Jono, any particular reason for your dislike of Watson?

I mean, can't they go and protest about something that actually matters? US incursions in the middle east, exploitation of child workers on the subcontinent.. Damien Martyn??

To be honest, half the time I'm just mucking around. But to me, he's a cocky prick on the field yet shuts up when he's getting his ass handed to him. Hasn't done nearly enough to earn it yet.

Good batsman though, will be a gun. Which is a shame really.

The guy is the biggest jerk in cricket, I think.
Lol what? I don't get what you mean. Refused water? Killed a pidgeon? Who was upset?

Haha what a bunch of tarts.

    Animal abuse?

Gotta give them credit though, 'Damien Martyn' is written very neatly on the donkey.

Haha, is it just me, or do they all look really embarassed in that photo? Like they thought it was a good idea at the time, and now that the camera is there they are thinking "oh man... we're going to look like such tools...".

Read the paragraph below Bush's Picture

The champions return: Australian cricket captain Ricky Ponting and some of his players arrived back in Sydney with the ICC Champions Trophy today after their success in Italy. On the other side of the country, Damien Martyn landed in Perth and launched a verbal broadside at bowling legend Dennis Lillee. Picture: Phil Hillyard
Now that is just ridiculous. How the hell do you mess up India with Italy?

That's what the Indian media is best at. I was watching it on TV and they kept on showing it over and over and over again like 20 times. I was like jesus is that all you can do to make people get on your side?

They had videos of people on the street with a dummy of Ricky Ponting sitting on a donkey, than taking their shoes and hitting the dummy in front of the camera. Gotta love the Indian public.

I would really love to see how Martyn responds after seeing that picture.

I believe Kapil killed one of those birds (I was too sure it was a pigeon earlier.) while batting by one of his shots and was really shaken up by it. (It is a big deal to kill anything for most normal Indians.) And so he asked for some water from the dressing room, but AB (behaving like the jerk he is) refused it and asked him to get on with the game.

And BTW, it was interesting reading that Harmison regrets not checking on Ponting or apologizing to him after what happened in the first Ashes test. I seem to remember Javagal Srinath hitting Ponting with a bouncer and then apologizing to him, only for Punter to launch a tirade of abuse at poor Srinath. I get the feeling that Harmison was well advised to stay out of Punter's way after he gave him that blow.
We miss you, Fardin. :(. RIP.
