heard about this earlier in the day and thought it was just a joke but looks like they really have been called back.

Sad news for cricket fans.. lets just hope nothing comes out in the 2nd sample, it would be a shame if both these good bowlers took drugs.

Very interesting comment, does that imply that if they do fail a B sample the PCB will make the decision regarding punishment I.e. ban et cetera?

Shocking news however, switched on Sky Sports News this morning seeing Shoaib leading the bulletin, just thought he was injured again. The guy’s box office and with Asif the tournament has just lost two major talents.

By the way it’s been bloody murder trying to log in this morning.

Well they have supposedly tested positive for nandrolone so there is a possibility that they could have produced it naturally. Don’t won’t speak to soon but that’s quite unlikely considering the injures both players had and in Shoaib’s case nandrolone could be rather helpful with his knees. Also doesn’t he suffer from osteoporosis or another bone disease which nandrolone is effective in treating?

Be interesting to see the guidelines and limits of the PCB’s test (if they do come to light). Are they the same as the Olympic Committee, 2ng per ml of urine maximum, or is it lower/higher?

But seriously shocking news for world, and in particular Pakistani cricket. I really feel for the Pakistani fans who surely do not deserve this. Here's hoping there's been some kind of stuff-up because otherwise Pakistan will surely be without their best attack not only for the CT but also the World Cup. Also, if its confirmed that three players (I read that the results of Rana's test are not clearly clean and are still being evaluated) it raises some ugly questions about what exactly is going on in the Pakistani team - a scandal nobody wants to occur. As stated, here's hoping that these initial results are able to be cleared up.

Not guilty until result of B sample comes in and appeal process has been exhausted.

Spoke to a friend of mine who happens to be an ex-Pakistani test cricketer and he was not surprised at all. He had heard rumours of "treatments" months ago.

Hopefully, they'll just remain rumours
