Moved to Champs Trophy forum.
That's great because now no one will really see the thread and hence the thread might as well be dead !!Originally Posted by James
I'm actually torn. Part of me thinks it probably would've been more politic of the ICC to omit Hair on this occasion (no reasons need to be given, no blame on either side), but equally there's no way any country can dictate which umpires they wish to stand in any game.

Beware the evils of Kit-Kats - they're immoral apparently.
Why is there no thread asking if Doctrove should stand?
A good point, but the ICC have seemingly made this solely about Hair as much as anybody.Originally Posted by marc71178

Before this thread got moved it was 2-1 against Hair standing at Champions Trophy. But since it moved here and the selective audience who come to this Sub forum , Hair is now level pegging with regard to his appointment at Champions Trophy.
This result is unreliable and grossly out of character with the view on the CW Main forum and cannot be accepted as a genuine vote based on the majority opinions on CW .
TBF you seem to be doing exactly what Pakistan were guilty of: moaning about the arbiters of the competition when the result isn't going your way.....Originally Posted by JASON
I agree. It should be 2:1 in favour of Hair standing.Originally Posted by JASON
It was moved to the proper place for the thread - you can't have any complaints about that.Originally Posted by JASON
Any poll on here is extremely unreliable to be honest.Originally Posted by JASON
Exactly, but people are only seeing Hair. There were two umpires out there remember.Originally Posted by marc71178
Until the hearing is held and completed then Hair can continue to umpire, if Pakistan or any other team has a problem then they can continue to take it too the ICC and have a whinge.

Dunno about that - the Indians haven't been backward in their criticism of Bucknor in the past.Originally Posted by Fratboy
Anyhow, it looks like Hair definitely isn't standing in the Champions Trophy now - safety concerns are being cited. *nudge nudge wink wink*
