Sensible decision, considering Marvan Atapattu’s back is all but gone and at least the captaincy has had a real positive influence on Mahela’s batting.

Excellent move, Jaywardene is the correct choice as Sri Lanka are looking for a good captain in the future and this can count to be good experience with Jayasuriya and Marvan still there..
