No real suprises in that squad. That's not to say I like the squad. Hayden and Jaques have much more right than Katich to play.n Katich is to slower batsmen for the up tempo game of ODI cricket.

I think Hogg will be the selectors chose for nearly every ODI. He is easily the second best spinner in Australia after Warne.

Katich is going to Champions trophy and Hayden is not and yet Hayden has perfomed much better than Katich in the Malaysia tri-series (not to mention Jaques also missing out).....What were the Aussie selectors thinking

Yeah, seems a bit ridiculous. Although they could always replace Katich with Hayden.

Yes that's unfortunate. But I think the selectors chose the final Champions Trophy squad before the Malaysia series started.
