I've now got Sky Sports fitted. Yay.

Heart says England, and so does the head. Nonetheless, I know the West Indies bowlers can be dangerous early on when the ball's moving around and if we bat first I can see a few wobbles. Still, I have complete faith in Freddie and the rest of the team isn't half bad either.

Can't wait.
First time I have seen Neil so excited. Hope England Plays well. :)

west indies r my favourites...

I think west indies will win... England may have a better team, but WI are full of confidence after having won the NW series plus England will have the pressure of 20000 people at the oval who will want england to win...

(Halsey to say it's 110-negative 10 England in 5...4...3...)
I reckon it's 80-20 personally - although if Lara gets going we're stuffed.

The fact that I thought it was 55-45 in Australia's favour against us and so didn't rate it an upset doesn't mean I'm unreasonable! :p:)

Annoyingly, I haven't been able to catch much live coverage of Windies' majestic progress to the final (particularly frustrating was Sky's inability to show the run chase against South Africa).
Was on Sky, you just had to push the red button :) (on Sky Digital anyway)

Maybe a knock on the head will do Lara's captaincy some good... He does make some "eccentric" decisions sometimes.
Agreed, but his captaincy has been top class in this tournament so far. He's looked a genius on numerous occasions.

I really wan't the Windies to win, but I'm afraid that it's going to be England. 6 wickets or 50 runs.

I want England to win.

But it can go either way. In ODIs this season England have been inconsistent. It's only been this month that they've showed some sort of collective form.

It'd be great if England do pull it off, it'd end an amazing summer with the best of results.

The great thing about this final, as we will have a new winner of the tournament (if Australia made the final instead of England I would have said the same thing :D - hey I am allowed to gloat for once).

And if the West Indies win, and even making the final will now save Lara from having the captaincy taken off him. Lara seems to have a thing with nearly losing the captaincy, and somehow delivering a big result. Think back to 1999.

And that is the important thing - this month's form.

The other important thing is that neither of the big 2 who we're supposedly relying on performed on Tuesday, but we still outplayed the opposition quite nicely.

Tried that mate, but they weren't showing it (there was no "Actice Cricket" option). Gower apologised for live coverage being unavailable, but didn't explain why (at least not while I was watching).

Why on earth do you have an apostrophe in want?!
Why on Earth do you have an exclamation mark following a question mark? For that matter, why have you not enclosed the quote in quotation marks?

(double-checks the above for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, realises this is not a sentence, has no capital letter at the front or period at the end either, spurns the use of any apostrophe, checks again - phew!)

:p

That's because of the selectors messing around with players like Blackwell.

Now they've just got the Test side with a few changes (what it should be) we're doing well. There are very few good ODI specialists.
