Yea I just saw the thread (howz dinesh karthik) with the wayward reference in, seems to be like 10 threads with a very slightly different harmison argument going on... hard to keep up with it all. I'm sure there'll be something tomorrow about how harmison was lucky to bowl 96.3mph and it was all cos of the wind and the speedometer being broken and atapattu playing a bad shot made the delivery look faster.

Nope - perfect timing.

He'd had a 'curry hell' the night before and just happened to time the release of gas perfectly.

Regarding SW-H, you need to go back to the CricketWeb front page, select 'News' then 'News Archive', scroll down and find the entries for 'Devil Ducky's Weekly Column' and just take it from there.

I used to be a good writer, you know.

Returning to the thread topic-

I feel it would be an Aus V Pak final , With Aus = Pak 50/50 (depending on toss etc).

I would like Eng V WI final, with WI winning to stem the WI cricketing decline and increase more interest within WI with regard to cricket (participation, spectator interest etc.) as the World Cup approaches WI.

a.) Aus vs. Pak
Australia, cos my wife'd give me the cold shoulder for a while if I say anything otherwise.

b.) Eng vs. WI
With the WI hitting Eng with an allmighty klap (I'm talking 200 runs or 10 wickets in 15 overs chasing 100) to set off a massive run of Eng osses so to put the kaibosh on their momentum prior to the SA tour.
