<quack> Remember those heady days a few years ago when St Helens used to have a decent rugby team, but still not as good as Wig..... (quacking voice fades into distance) Sorry about that. Have you met Devil Ducky yet?

In form I agree . And I also agree that they are going to do well in the tournament . Wasim Akram recently said that the final will be Pak vs Eng .He made a valid point .

I read it, found the whole thing laughable for the most part, and rather sad at the same time. Not from the point of view of Glenn McGrath, but from the perspective of the hack concerned (David Hopps - I've not read a lot of his stuff, but then again I tend to avoid the Grauniad). Why are we so preoccupied with the Ashes? Hopps had been itching to ask the same, tired question and shouldn't have been surprised when he got the same, tired answer. McGrath's not being contemptible or contemptuous (well, not here anyway) - he's just telling it like it is "We're here, you're there. Is that all you've got? Bring it on" etc - make no bones about it, he's seen it all before, and so have I. I've also seen smiles wiped off Vegemite-stained faces before too, but that's another story. No, fair play to the hack - he got his story, but it didn't say anything we hadn't heard before. It could just as easily have been a photocopy of one of the others he quoted as a footnote. |

Your prediction will lead to your own downfall. As it does with us Indian fans!

I am not one who subscribes to the school of thought that ANYTHING started with Sky TV's endorsement of either a Premiership or a Superleague. It's crass commercialism - and everyone knows that. 2 - the same as Saints? 2000 LE thinks that you and Saints deserve each other. |
