The Windies will pick him up then, given that he's born in Guyana!

United States of America 32/2 (10.0 ov)
They've had a slight recovery.

I'm not too dissimilar a batsman to Bradman.
Both of us have batting averages below 100.

McGrath was extremely impressive though - and Kasprowicz has struck immediately.

A dismissal to please Samuel Vimes - fishing outside off stump

Ah, finally a good bowler gets a wicket.

(well, apart from the fact that Alexander's been batting like a tail-ender... )

There should be some type of by-law that prevents mis-matches of this ilk!! I mean, how does this sort of clash do anybody any good? It's so rare to get all the top teams together, and then the administrators serve up this tripe! It's a first-rate farce!

You are being a little unfair. Australia aren't THAT bad.

His name suggests he could well be just what cricket in the U.S needed.

Going at just over 4 an over is not good against the U.S! But then I guess it depends on how they got them, edges all over the place, or fluid cover drives and pulls etc (or the last option, all in extras! haha).

It was the wides, no-balls and general Harmison-of-yesteryear-like rubbish I was getting at.

As I type, Kaspa gets a gift from the umpire.

I know what you were getting at. Don't worry, just agreeing.......it seems hard to do on here at times.

USA cracks 50!

OK, so it's 51/7, but still, it's more than many thought they'd get.

USA all out 65.

If my maths is right, Aus needs to make the runs in less than 12 overs to have a better RR than NZ.
