Great batting by Ganguly and Laxman, and then Dravid and Kaif near the end. I picked 290 and they got there. I wish Kaif got another 50 though.
two 50's and one 49* by kaif in last 4 innings (1 runout thanks ganguly). This shows that kaif is not bad as everyone thought when he use to bat #7.

More important for me was the fact that he played some excellent shots and scored quicker. He has almost always scored a run-a-ball but today, he just seemed to be playing more shots and being more successful at it. That combined with his always-reliable quick running between the wickets gave him such a huge strike rate.
Karthik is keeping brilliantly. That's two great catches off Harbhajan's bowling. If they India needed any more proof that a specialist keeper is the way to go, this match is just that. Imagine if the opposition was Australia or Pakistan and those catches had been put down. Its wickets off chances like those that can win a match for a team.
On that note, Harbhajan is bowling brilliantly.
And his average in ODI drops below 30...
