Like the majority i would say India, Australia, South Africa & Sri Lanka... it sure will be a gr8 competition if these four teams face each other!

Can't see England overcoming Sri Lanka, West Indies v S.A could go either way..its probably the most open match. Australia are probably 60/40 over NZ..and India/Pak will be fairly even also.

This isn't SL at home though is my reckoning, they'll be coming straight from home turf, and also are without Murali, which does considerably weaken their attack.

Very true. But I think their coach John Dyson is astute. He's certainly got them playing better consistent cricket.

Correct me if iam wrong but don't the winners of Australia's group and the winners of England's group meet in the SF's?

So it would have to be something like...

Semi one
New Zeland vs Sri lanka
Semi two
West Indies vs India

Final
West Indies vs India - Well it can't happen

Anyway as for my guess I would go for......

Australia
England
South Africa
India

It does not matter who the other three semi-finalists are, you could replace them with minnows, A-teams or under-19 players, but Australia is the only team that can win. They're winning everything! On present form, there are no other contenders.

Liking that scenario quite a lot..... We could play a team of Clarkes, Blackwells, and McGraths and still win from there!
