When are your guys Challenge league games? Pretty big to try make the top 2. Uganda have qualified in the other group.

It feels weird saying Kenyan cricket will be 5th on the African continent after the golden era should have set things up for you guys for the generations to follow.
Pretty disappointed in how hardcore the factionalism in the Kenyan game is. I don't know when the second leg is set to kick off, but the way we we lost the matches we lost, combined with how we made such hard work of one of the two wins, in the Nairobi leg is not giving me much hope.

Nepal beat Scotland yesterday but the interesting thing was the last ball. Nepal had one wicket and needed one run. Bowled down the leg side, keeper fumbles and Nepal run but the keeper gets the run out. Umpire calls wide so Nepal win.
Run out not recorded on the scorecard. Normally, the order of events doesn't matter on a run out off a wide, but with the wide call, the game ends so no run out I assume.

Yep same reason that if you need one run to win and you smash a shoulder-high full toss for six only the no ball counts.

i remember Randiv bowling a no ball to stop Sehwag scoring a ton in an ODI years ago. I think Pollard did something similar a few years ago too.

What happens if your opponent needs to win by x amount? Seems a loophole that can be exploited, although I’m not sure its ever been done at pro level

Who are AoS Sports, and why am I sifting though a poposal they submitted to Cricket Kenya promising the sun, moon and stars (and Joe Root) for a prospective T20 league to kick off in October?

The final round of European qualifiers for next year’s T20 World Cup started yesterday, wins for the Netherlands over Jersey and Italy over Guernsey while Scotland’s game today against Guernsey was rained off (looking likely that Italy’s game against Jersey could go the same way). A lot of recognisable names in the Italy side, most interestingly to me is that Emilio Gay made his full international debut (having played some List A games in the CWC pre-qualifiers last year), just weeks after playing for the England Lions against India A, if say a certain England top order player falls out of favour, could he play or would he have to wait having played for another country?

It’s very possible the rain might save England today, but it’s just so stupid that in the year of our Lord 2025, we are still seeing games called off, potentially World Cup dreams crushed because of the weather

Scotland having what looks like an easy win on paper rained off could be huge for their qualifications given Italy got an easy win and NRR boost vs the same opposition.

Jersey pushed the Dutch hard in the first game and are usually there or thereabouts so that game being rained off might not be the worst thing for Italy

Italy look like there about to upset Scotland. Scotts need 15 off 3 to win.

Edit: holy ****, Italy actually won. 5fer for bbl legend Harry manenti. Does that guarantee Italy a t20 WC spot!
