Lesson for Ben that he can't just expect to chase every game and win.

I read the only time he chose to bat after winning the toss was the first day of the Ashes where he declared with Root on 118*

Siraj came in like a wrecking ball.

He is enjoying being India's no.1 strike bowler with Bumrah having a rest.

Playing right into England's trap here.

If we get a big enough lead and enforce the follow on, we will get smashed in the third dig and bowled out under pressure on day 5.

If we bat again with a big lead, the pressure is on us to time the declaration perfectly. A draw will feel like a loss and England will go into Lords 1-0 up and with the moral victory of having escaped from this situation.

England hold all the cards here.

England needs a player with a surname ending in "Y" to stand up here (i.e rest of the team)

Agonizingly Awkward

School Boy/Girl Captain
yeah good start but with these two, if they get in, there will be nowhere to hide for this attack, with their range of shots.

Gee Joe Root and Ben Stokes have reverted to mean after that recent little purple patch, haven’t they?
I'll bite this time.

Stokes averaging 28 since the Lords ton against yous just over 2 years ago.

Simply not good enough.

This Eng team is ***. Aus should have no fear of them. The current WI pace attack is world class in comparison and the Eng batting looks generally inconsistent. Bowling attack is stiff as.

I believe Labuschagne should return to No.3(get a positive mindset on him), and get rid of Konstas and Green. Aus are lucky Beau webster is a top batsman at #6
