Lol at the comms just then "yeah he gets that down" for the most obvious knock on.

I get they are home town comms, but it's really over the top right now

They'll be hyping up the Lions more than if it was their own national side.

A romantic would say it's because of the special place Lions rugby has in British and Irish rugby. A cynic night say it's to continually validate something that is becoming increasingly anachronistic.

Speaking of Australians, it'd almost escaped my attention that Farrell has called up Bealham.

So that's more Australian born than Welsh born Lions this year.

Crusaders again. Disappointing predictability. 3 consecutive final losses for the Chiefd
Did you watch the game? Judging from the highlights, looks as though McKenzie struggled which probably means Barrett will start at 10 for the French series.

I was a bit surprised at the scoreline in the game between ABs and France thought the gap would be bigger.
Du'Plessis Kirifi what a name :-O

I annoyingly had to take the dogs up to the vets so not had a chance to catch any of this mornings games - any worth a full replay or the highlights tell the story?

Rather like the former Trinidad and Nottingham Forest striker Stern John it very much sounds like the birth registrar got his first and surnames mixed up.

As he was born in 1997 I'd have guessed the then Springbok coach Carel du Plessis was maybe the most likely candidate for his name's inspiration.

And lol Wales. Got to love 'em.

18 Ls on the skid must be a record for a tier one nation, surely?

Hmm I wouldnt change my surname for nobody. First name is still okay, I guess Du Plessis is more known in Rugby circles than Carel
