Which is why he isn't higher up with guys like Kallis, Chappell etc for me. But I'll still take him over Barrington.

same level for me, I think Barrington would've done better had his home country been anywhere but England, God on flat wickets and against spin (averages 70+)

Yes Simply having 2 iconic innings isn’t enough. Rahul Dravid scored 2 centuries in 60 innings against Australia. That’s poor.

1963 : 5 Tests. 275 runs. Avg of 27. 0 tons.
1966 : 2 Tests. 59 runs. Avg of 15. 0 tons.
1967 : 5 Tests. 288 runs. Avg of 41. 1 ton.

He played 3 full series and was good in two of those. In 1966, he was fully fatigued and thus could no longer play the remaining the full series.
