Migara

International Coach
I remember Vaas bowling around early 130s but later on his speed dipped to around late 120s
1995 circa he was truely fast medium. Then he got a nasty back injury in 1999, and modeled his action fully sideon. Then he started bowling brisk side of fast medium clocking low to mid 130s. However he couldn't swing the ball at that pace consistently. So he once again dropped the pace to mid 120s and started changing it down and up both ways. That was in 2001-5 period where he was doing very well. Then his pace dropped, still stayed relevent because he added cutters to his arsenel. By the time he was unceramoniously dumped, he was averaging mid 30s with the bat and the ball both.

Whatever it takes!!!
Mate.. I watched all 3 innings in serious contention live on TV. And it is easy enough for me to say what I said.

Pant's shouldn't even be in this conversation, as great as that knock was.

Interestingly no one has mentioned the real greatest test inning of time imo
Lara's 153 , Perera's 153 are great
But markram's 106 is the greatest inning Tbh Screenshot_2025-04-07-21-18-52-81.jpg

Lara’s 153 is better in my opinion

Laxman had a tougher situation but he had way better support from Dravid who scored 180 in same innings
