Wow. Nick Greenwood got there quickly - pretty sure he was playing club cricket down the road from me yesterday or at least Saturday.

Where is this Jersey located?
Jersey is a tiny island off the Northern coast of France - but is (as I recall) a Bailiwick of the United Kingdom. Much like the Isle of Man or Gibraltar. A pseudo-independent microstate which is quintessentially British but (in the case of Jersey) a dose of French influence.

In terms of progress, they've been doing reasonably well in the tier 3 context - hard to know how many of their players are living in Jersey rather than descendants of Jersey (Nick Greenwood lives and plays club cricket in New Zealand)
