Bit disappointing from the jostler

Good start but got to be a bit careful now. If they suddenly lose 2-3 like they did against the Windies it's going t look a lot further than it should.

Man I thought that looked out when the replay was being shown. Looked like a little change of direction to me. Malan might've got away with one.

How umpires make most of those decidions correctly live I'll never know. Always found it impossible in my brief attempt at the art.

Domingo, Papon, Mahmudullah must go. Worst trio
Papon mostly.

Domingo's record has been below the absolute lowest expectations we could have had of the team that was doing quite well at the end of the decade. Not sure how much is him, but it's as bad a record as could have been expected.

But Papon has to go. Now.

Does the Fiz know middle and leg isn't where the "corridor" is?

A couple of wickets would be nice tbh. If you keep lowering your expectations, you'll come out happy I reckon.

What a shame. Smooth as **** bowler. One who's an apt fit for the "Rolls Royce of a fast bowler" description
He was very inconsistent though, maybe still is. Often sprayed the ball about and only occasionally produced his fastest. He played a season of BBL and was in the running for the worst bowler ever to play in the comp.

Big boundaries are cool, slow pitches are a big boring
Yeah I'm starting to notice how dull the games are.

The pitch in Oman was perfect. Fast and predictably bouncy so it's easy to hit, but grippy enough to offer reward for good seam and spin. There was even a bizarrely prodigious amount of swing available early, possibly due to the humidity.

Jordan has looked **** in the warmups and the real games. Looks to have no idea where the ball is going right now. Have to think if wood or Curran were fit they'd be playing in his place
I mean Jof would be the one. Unbelievable attack with him

Yeah, I'd take that in a heartbeat. Looking at today's line-up, I had no idea that Malan had played 31 of these games for England before this one. And even less that he's averaging 43 in them.

He was north of 50 for a fair while. Top rated bat in the world. Think in conditions other than this he might not be in side but he is a great option in a lowish scoring tournament.

Hope we lose all the matches. A win against a side will be dangerous for future because everything will be forgotten.

That'll do then.

I'll never be less than delighted with a win for England, but it's felt very perfunctory, hasn't it?
